Classifications and results in regularity rallies

In this post we want to explain the operation and utility of Blunik Trip.

Blunik Trip is a classic odometer, which is based on reading the wheel turns to measure distance. It also has a precise clock, which makes it an ideal device for navigation rallies, raids, as well as for regularity if the co-pilot carries his tables on paper.

Blunik Trip does not calculate means nor does it have regularity comparison tables. It neither calculates nor verifies the average speed. This is perfect in rallies where the use of devices with internal tables, average speed calculations, computers, GPS or smartphones is prohibited.

The technical verifiers can easily verify the Blunik Trip model and software, and of course that it does not emit any type of GPS signal.

The use of Blunik Trip is based on providing us with the total and partial distance of the roadbook and being able to square meters in all situations. The Blunik Trip can count, discount or not count meters, an ideal function to not lose meters in maneuvers and errata in the route.

Blunik Trip is one of the few tripmeter that allows you to add meters, ideal for when the driver cuts the road during a timed regularity stage.

With the Blunik Trip we can apply a known distance at the point we want and add x meters per kilometer to compensate for differences in temperature or tire pressure.

It has Mode J to follow the sections with a table, since it shows you the time on screen.

As with the Blunik II and Blunik II Plus, the Blunik Trip also has the Fast Wheel and Slow Wheel algorithms, which have been developed to overcome the expletives of the wheels in a rally situation and is also compatible with all accessories Blunik (except the Acustic Drive and Super Acustic Drive).
