Differences between Blunik II and Blunik Trip

How useful is each one?

Blunik's product list comprises various Blunik models. In this post we explain what the Blunik II, Blunik II PLUS and Blunik Trip models have in common, and what is the main difference and utility of the Blunik Trip.

What do Blunik II and Blunik II PLUS share with Blunik Trip?

  • They use probes to the wheels of the car (1 or 2)

  • They have probe reading software to offer maximum precision in reading the meters traveled.

  • They have an internal precision clock and stopwatch.

  • They can be calibrated.

  • They don't use GPS.

Only Blunik II and Blunik II Plus:

  • They can be programmed with different average speeds, therefore they work with electronic speed tables.

  • It shows the regularity distance, as well as the actual speed, the total and the partial distance.

Only Blunik Trip:

  • It shows the real speed, the total and partial distance, but NOT the regularity distance.

  • There are no means programming options.

If the organization of a rally prohibits the use of devices that calculate averages or that use GPS, the Blunik Trip is the solution. Furthermore, the Blunik Trip is also compatible with most Blunik accessories.

If you want to know all the features of Blunik Trip, you can download the instruction manual. In the manual, those functions that the Blunik Trip does not do but the Blunik II do are marked in gray.
